IPHA board members advance the organization’s goals by offering strategic leadership, attending monthly board meetings, actively promoting membership, participating in committee meetings and events, and engaging in fund development activities. We seek diverse representation – in all its forms – of public health professionals and partners committed to guiding and supporting the mission of IPHA throughout the state. If you’re interested in supporting the future of public health as a member of our board, fill out this interest form!
IPHA Members are familiar with our Monthly Virtual Lunch Meet-Ups, one of our networking opportunities that connects public health professionals from around the state for an hour each month. While you may be disappointed to learn our traditional Monthly Meet-Up is cancelled for March 2023, that announcement comes with more exciting news – the meet-up will be replaced by IPHA’s first student session! The March Meet-Up will be a professional development session, open to all students, with presenter Kristine Schuster, MPA, the Director of Career and Professional Development for IU Fairbanks School of Public Health. We’ll be back to our regular schedule in April, with more student-supporting events sprinkled throughout the rest of the year. This session is a result of our Student Advisory Group’s leadership, and we’re excited for additional student resources to come! Register for the student session
Applications are open to join the IPHA Student Advisory Group (SAG) 2023-2024 cohort! The SAG serves as a key liaison between IPHA leadership and Indiana student stakeholders. This group serves as a voice for student needs and guides IPHA’s efforts to provide students with meaningful engagement opportunities. Applications for the 2023-2024 cohort are due Friday, February 17. APPLY HERE!
